Fresh sweet corn is truly incredible! Immediately after harvest, the sugar in the corn begins converting to starch- that's why fresh-picked corn is so much sweeter than corn that is several days old. This timing makes it tricky to get top-quality sweet corn to the farmers market and in past seasons we have only grown enough for our family. We're hopeful to be able to offer sweet corn to our customers this season!
