Broccoli is in the Brassicaceae family, with kale, kohlrabi, cabbage etc. Unfortunately, many pests find broccoli just as tasty as we do so we have had a tough time raising mature, marketable broccoli . This season we're planning to use bug netting over the broccoli plants to reduce bug damage and are hoping for successful spring and fall plantings.
